Hey Tracy its Brent from Sturgeon Lake, MN. I bought King from you back in May. I just wanted to let you know that he is doing great and I will have some new pics to send you this weekend. He weighs 70lbs already. Right now he is lying on his back with his legs spread snoring very loud. He has met so many dogs and children this summer and he is so well behaved around everyone. It is unbelievalbe how much people love this dog and just want to take him home everytime they see him. I am so proud of him and I can guarantee you I would never buy another dog from anyone but you. He is loving these cooler temps that just rolled in the past couple of days and I can't wait for the first snowfall so he can run wild and dig like a true bernard. Take care and I will send those pics soon.

Nina is all grown up and is now a mascot of a college football team in Helena, Montana. She did great her first game with all the noise and people.

Hi Tracy Jo,
We have failed to send you pics of Isis (formerly Mitzy) for almost 2 years now. She just turned two November 23, 2008. We sang "Happy Birthday" and had cupcakes in her honor. Although we felt silly, she deserved so much more for bringing us the happiness that she does each day. She is the most beautiful Saint we have ever seen (we're not biased though-haha). Anyway, we wish you a happy holiday season and hope you enjoy the photos.
Merry Christmas!

Good Morning Tracy Jo!
We had the cutest picture of little Bella. Her last weigh in was on April 1st and she was 75 pounds exactly. We will take her in to be weighed again around the 1st of March. The vet thinks we weigh her every month to make sure she has the right amount of heart worm and flea medication but really its for my own interest. I like to see how big she is getting.
Anyhow, she is doing well. Learning all sorts of things and trying so hard to be good. We took her to the groomer and they all loved her! She is very well behaved and is the sweetest thing ever! of course we still often see her "crazy puppy" side. And the cats only see the crazy puppy. She isn't allowed on the couch and has just recently claimed the old green chair as her own. We had to remove the cushion since she chewed on it for some reason. She doesn't seem to mind the cushion-less chair.

Koda has been wonderful. He is very playful and loves to play with his toys. He is sleeping well at night and it's been a long time since he had any accidents. He also loves to go for rides in the car and for short walks. I'm sending you a few pictures you can already see he has grown. He's up to 27lbs. per my scale and he goes to the vet on Thurs. to see for sure. Thanks again for everything. I will cont. to keep you updated on his progress.

I can't believe that Rufus will be 2 this coming Saturday and Magnum will be 12 weeks on Friday. They play and play and play. Magnum is not too interested in his toys, he much rather plays with Rufus. He is challenging Rufus, barks at him and wants to play pretty rough with him. They are playing so hard and then all of a sudden, they are stretched out on the tile in my bathroom. When he is outside, he puts rocks, sticks, etc. in his mouth and then he walks real proud. Even when Rufus wants some quiet time and jumps on my bed, Magnum cannot jump on the bed yet, but he can still reach Rufus.
The last few days have been quite warm - yesterday it was 98 degrees! It will be a bit cooler the rest of the week, but it looks like that summer is just around the corner.
This morning I put some pictures of the two boys in the mail for you. Last night, Magnum was laying underneath the two elevated bowls from Rufus. I don't know how he manages it, but it won't be much longer before he won't fit in some places anymore.
I'll take pictures whenever the boys are not too rowdy.

Just wanted to let you know Otis is doing well. I slept with him the 1st night, the 2nd night he stayed in the basement and last night he stayed in his lot. When my husband went to get him this morning he was asleep in his house. I had to bring him to work with me to show him off. I think he is adjusting well. We love him sooo much!
Thanks again.

Hi Tracy,
I thought I'd send you a note to let you know we got back Sunday and Hershey has settled in just fine. I took him up to work with me on Monday - our company is home-based at my parent's house. You can see what a hard day at the office he had in the photos attached. :) My dad was out of town so he'll come back up on Thursday to play. My parents' full grown Saint, Patton, was so funny! I don't think he knew quite what to make out of our little ball of furr and was absolutely terrified of Hershey!! Hershey had no such restraint. He saw instant playmate and set off chasing Patton around until we picked him up so he would leave poor Patton alone. I think once Hershey grows, Patton will be a little more comfortable with him.
He is absolutely wonderful so far! We are slowly learning what "NO!" means, and that he is not king of the castle. There is definitely no fear of anything in this little guy! If anything is in range, it gets checked out! Lol, the verticle blinds in our kitchen seem to be particularly amusing to him, and he loves weaving through them. He's also super smart and has already learned that when he needs to go potty, whine and we will let him out. I thought for sure it'd be another week before we got that far with potty training!
We just adore him and he's made lots of new friends already. Thanks so much for letting him go to us!

What a darling boy!

Hi Tracy Jo,
I was just downloading some new pictures of our dog Sam that I took
today and thought I would send you a few. He is out of Sam and
Lightening's litter from November 2006 and is 17 months old now. He
is doing very well and is still so sweet and loving. I think he
believes he is a superstar, because everywhere we go, he gets tons of
attention from everyone. Saint Bernards are not very common dogs here
in Arkansas, so people are always fussing over him, and he loves it.
He went to the vet a month ago for his yearly vaccinations and he
weighed 130 pounds and is definately still growing! As you can see in
the pictures, I interrupted his nap to take his picture, and he was
not so happy about it. I made him stand up for one of the pictures
and you can see the pouty face he is making. Just wanted to let you
know how he is doing. Hope you are doing well.

Tracy, Hey there, I got some really cute pictures of Memphis and I wanted to share them with you. Oh my goodness is she a character these days. I can't even tell you. Her favorite thing for us to do with her is for us to hold her paw...like holding hands. We'll sit on the couch and she'll sit beside us and we have to hold her paw in our hand. She is sooooo darn funny/cute. What a charmer. We were at the vets the other day because she gets her lip stuck to the fence...you know like sticking your tongue to the flag pole...she rubs against the fence pole then yanks off...OUCHIE. Poor baby!!! Well as the vet and I are talking she gets up on her hind legs puts her other legs on the table so it looks like she is standing at the table talking with us. She couldn't be left out...I mean it was after all about HER. And as we talk she is conveinced she is little like our dog Georgia...so she attempts (much to my displeasure...and amusement I must admitt) to get behind the Christmas tree to sleep. Knocking down every ornament and nearly toppling the tree. Luckily she stops when I say her name and give me that forlorned Saint look. What an outstanding dog I have huh??? Memphis Belle...What can I say...she is always entertaining. Liz

Here is Rufus all content in his new home...this picture was taken September 30th.
|
8/14/06 Dear Tracy Jo,
Rufus must get exhausted from wagging his tail! Sometimes when I sit on the floor and watch TV, Rufus comes around the chair and sits next to me. Then he starts leaning a bit against me, so I put my arm around him and we watch TV together for a while.
Down the street is a school for blind and deaf children. Every morning we walk by the school and since school started again, the busdrivers are busy checking the busses before they leave to pick up the children. But when they see Rufus, they will stop and come and pet him. Some of the busdrivers only use sign language, but words are not necessary when you see Rufus. Their facial expressions tell enough how much they love him.
Since Rufus behaves so well at night, I did not want to put him in the kitchen, while I was getting ready to go to work this morning. When I came out of the shower, he was right there on the floor! He stayed there until I was ready and we could go for our walk. He is not afraid of the vacuum cleaner noise or my hair dryer! As long as he can see what I am doing, it is okay with him.
Every day he amazes me how special he is!
With kind regards from Tineke and kisses from Rufus.
P.S. I have been taken some more pictures of Rufus, but he doesn't sit still very long. Even when I sneak up to him when he sleeps, he starts wagging his tail. When the pictures are ready, I will send them to you.

New picture of Roxie Belle in September!
|
Wiggy's update...
We're having so much fun teaching and playing with Roxie Belle right now. That's what we've decided to call her. Everyone comments on what a good dog she is. We always hear how adorable she is. I may be bias but she is a beautiful dog. We've been really pleased with her looks and her manner. She's a perfect match for us!

this is Baby Blue, she is growing up to be a wonderful working pup. Here is a note that I got from her new Mommy.
She is doing well. Her attention span is great and right now the obedience is going great.
I am working her with a hunting lab at the moment because he is very self assured and it seems to help her feel secure knowing that she has back up. It is so weird.
She is so awesome and we love her so much.
She has adopted my female chihuahua as her sergeant mother and you should see MOM pull her around by her checks it is so funny. Blue could and has put moms whole head in her mouth and I am so glad they love each other. I cannot wait to find out more about the search and rescue training for her. right now we are at just security and self confidence stage. Seek, Hunt and release. Her rewards is not food or toys but belly rubs.
Man, does she love those, she will roll right over after a completed command it is so comical. I will send updated PICS.
Ps she is already helping in a service dog complicity without training. When I get to tired I can sit and say stay or help and she will lay and then pull by planting back feet to help me get back up after I have rested is that awesome or what.
From your loving Daughter and Friend
